Here is all the info I collected about this frame set.

Mega was Brian Fell and Bill Prince's baby...full chromoly frames and forks, built by Fabweld, lasted about a year and a half. Team riders included Andrew Presland, Scott Smith, Marie McGilvary and I think Mike Reardon.
They didn't make very many of them said to be three batches it was less than 300 total.so it's a bit of a rarity. Mega was also infamous for it's "Mega Panel" side mount number plates.
Brian does indeed still work at MCS.
There were 2 sizes, the 125 and the 250. The 125 was the pro size frame and the 250 was the XL, and the forks are identical to Fabweld forks.

  4. should a 5 year old have a show bike ???

    Posted 23 May 2012

My son and I took in our first bike show together. he had a blast. He comes up to me and say's Dad I am going to get one of those trophies. I told him it is not that easy that he has to Win one. Not sure he understood all that well. but I figured I plan to attend more shows and he will most likely go with me, so I picked something up he could make his own and try to win one. My Issue is he is 5 and when he actually does see what I picked up will he ever get over the part were he doesn't get to ride it ??? I plan to add to this post with pic's and stories along the way. feel free to comment good or bad. here is his starting point.
