best places???

where are most of you finding to be the best places to find old school parts? i have looked some at ebay but there is always the fear that you are buying something that is fake or not worth the money. any info on good web sites or bike shops in norther illinois that carry some old stock would be great to know. -

first of all i want to say hi to everyone. i came across this site after finding my old SE Quad a few days ago. once i seen many of the old school bikes and reading many of the post i pulled my old bike out again and decided to start to rebuild it. what i have is a October 1982 #162 quadangle with redline cranks, so i have alot of work to do and way to many things to search out and find to get it back into shape but i will be sure and keep everyone up to date as i go alonge with it.
