Yup, i got outbid. That's the name of the game though. But I have never seen stickers go that high before, but then when was the last time you seen a good set like that on ebay. It is probably a good thing I didnt, from what I am understanding that colour sticker went on the blue Auburn, and the team green had the blue font with a red triangle. And I want to get as close as i possibly can while restoring this thing. There is a faint sign of team green underneath that god aweful green it was shaker canned, which gives me hope that i am on the right path! lol May the force be with us all when it comes to finding a needle in a haystack for all our rolling beauties! lol -

I don't know much about mid-school stuff but those Auburns are pretty cool.
Post a pic if you've got it.
center of headtube to center of seatpost tube is 20 1/4 inches so that would make it a ....... lol

The only thing that I have for 92 is a catalog, and a strange thing, thank you for the link ripvanwinkle, it helped alot but it has also confused me lol. Now correct me if I am wrong , the top tube goes from the head tube to the seatpost tube, right? ok (just confirmation) So i measured from the beginning of the top tube at the head tube, and measured the whole thing, past the seatpost tube to the end of it that connects to the rear link. It was 22 inches?? wtf??? In that link he only speaks of 19.5" 20.5" and 21" and not 22. Now it is 21" to the bolt that connects the rear. Could this be the measurement? Am I measuring wrong? My serial number on the Auburn says 92020093 and the rear is not aluminum but is alloy. I am assuming that it is a CR20RX 92 model #93 made in February. I guess I am going to have to take it to a painter to get the colour matched. Does anyone by any chance have an Auburn Sticker set that matches the one in the picture attached? Even if they have separate stickers. I know these are going to be hard to find.
Thanks a million -

After all this time away from BMX, I know the want-nows are strong, but there is something in finally finding the right thing even if it takes a while. You can build the bike with no stickers and put them on when you find them...
I know guys, im not keen on repops as well, and I did buy that set, thinking that I could re do them myself, but it is the wrong colour, wrong size and wrong year for that matter, all i know is that mine are toast and missing some and wont be satisfied with the build until they are done.
BTW, i am not in the business of selling re pop sticker sets, my business is strictly geared towards small and medium sized business for promotional garment and product, this was for me, and as a kind gesture i was going to offer 25 free sets to those who wanted them.
Is it cheaper and easier for me to re-do them, yes it is, im in the business, its just a matter of time, scanning the images doing a live trace, changing colours and sizes according to years and i send it to the plotter. But thanks anyways, i will either wait or figure it out.
thanks a million
