  2. Old School Numbers Zeronine and Haro 1978 - 1986

    Posted 8 Jan 2010

I was looking in my parents attic looking for some of my old parts.
I came across a box it had numbers written on it.
I was hoping it was my old number plates but it wasn't.
Instead I found a box with a bunch of stuff that was pre 1985 photos and such.
At the bottom of the box was accordion file full of numberplate numbers.
They are all Zeronine or Haro all different sizes.
I took a picture of the packaging from the oldest numbers it is the old zeronine packaging from around 1978.
I had a thing about wanting new numbers every race so i changed them all of the time i had 4 race bikes and they had to be different.
  3. Shop Finds This week Knucklebone BMX numberplate Numbers

    Posted 2 Jan 2010

I was at the shop picking up my numbers for the bike and the guy came out with a box and i spotted these.
He had about 20 of each number in the pictures. I asked what he wanted for them and I purchased them all.
  4. Haro Type 2 No velcro or Name?

    Posted 4 Nov 2009

I started tearing down the boss pro i purchased.
I was Cleaning this up it had Zeroline numbers on it.
    Decals came off without damage.
Is this a real Haro plate or not?
It has no velcro it is Zip Tie.

    TIA
    B
  5. Boss Pro

    Posted 11 Oct 2009

I replied to a thread in mid school but i guess this section is more fitting
I will be purchasing a Boss Pro XL complete next week.
It is complete in its original form from 1982.
Here are the pics I have so far he took the picture the other day.
I will probably trade it off for a vintage se or some new SE bikes.
I used to race SE via a team sponsorship in the 80's.
He said it has a few scratches but chrome boss cranks and decals are intact.
I'm sure there is a little rust somewhere but will not know before I pick it up.
The bike is good and it is in complete working order it has been stored inside for all of these years.
I didn't even know Boss existed figured i might as well purchase for the components so this thread is very informative.
The person I'm buying it from still has his national expert number on the number plate from the 80's.
last raced in 1982 when he began a sponsorship for GT.
I searched ebay to price out the bike but finding a vintage Boss seems to be difficult.
    What is this thing worth?
