I'm sure this has been covered over and over and I know that something is only worth what someone will pay, but when is enough enough?

It's stuff like this that make me want to give up on my Hutch Pro Star build, I just can't see paying these prices ESPECIALLY for smaller items like those. Then you have to wonder if that item REALLY even sold for that with all the shady stuff that goes on over at FEEbay.

Some of you know that I do aluminum polishing as a little side project. As far as old school parts, I usually will only polish super faded or beat up parts, never super nice or NOS parts. Old parts I clean up just to make them look new again with good old fashioned rust removal with the help of citric acid powder and a light polish to make things shiny again. Please, no rude comments. 90% of this was all for customers so I had no part in ruining og finished parts except for getting paid to do so lol. I just thought I would share some of my work....

Apparently I've lost my mind. I just bought a Hutch Pro Star frame and fork and I'm about to try and re-create probably one of if not THE most expensive bmx builds ever. It appears to have all og stickers and this will be an all og build, no show parts. Of course, since I'm an aluminum polisher I'll probably have at least one or two polished parts on it. I'm debating on re-creating the BMXA Pro Star test bike instead of the normal one we are all used to seeing. Any thoughts? Keep me in mind for any parts you come across too!

I just picked up a Reust Factory Pro frame and was going to build it up as a rider but I really don't know much about mid school parts. (even though it's from my era lol) I thought it would be cool to build this thing up since they were built in my neck of the woods. I have some chrome 7x's I will probably use along with some early 90's DK hubs I just bought but not sure what else to use on it, any ideas???
