First build in a while

All OG decals,no repop anything.The only thing a little off in the era department is the DC stamped cable was made 14 days after the DY frame itself in October of 1984 . MX900 and Tech 3 are 1984. The only thing I'm not happy with is the reversible stem pad. I will someday add DY bars if I can find the proper set. The GT pro bars did grow on me quite a bit. Anyway, alot of you guys helped me out, I'm not going to turn this into the Grammy's...you know who you are. I didn't over build this with all the super rare and exotic parts but I made it a reality.

Any members starting racing for the very first time?

I never actually raced in an organization in my life. Inner city Boston there was wasn't much of a chance of racing, after all I was a latch key kid. Anyway, my daughter Lily is 9 and she's had 10 practices as a USABMX member and one race (she placed and got a medal) Any advice as a 38 year old first timer? I'm not new to a bicycle. I ride as often as I can. However, I ride a 29" Firemans. I'll be on a new Redline Flight Pro xl 20". I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a tad nervous, not scared, just unsure of what to expect.

Advice/discussion?
