Your gif just opened up a good old memory of Racing with Bruce Brown. Thank you so much!
Thanks for posting that Hudson, very cool! I spent some time online trying to find out who any of the kids on the bikes were and found zip. I did run across a 2009 thread on Vintage wherein someone named Kate doing research for a TV project had claimed to have asked Bruce Brown, whose answer was that he couldn't recall. She asked if anyone on Vintage knew and of course no one did. It would be great if you could find out if that were true. Even if he doesn't remember names, he may be able to at least give a clue that could lead to finding out. Personally for as big an influence and inspiration that particular segment of On Any Sunday had on the growth of BMX, I would really like to see Bruce Brown and every one of those kids get a special place as pioneers in the BMX Hall Of Fame.
It would be cool to know where the trails they were riding were at and what they called them as well. -

No one gonna take a stab at ID-ing the old school BMX bike in the video's background? Can't see much of it but from what I can see of the bars and stem i'm thinking Mongoose Pro Class?
