Posted 28 Apr 2013Kerry, that is stunning. A real world build. No blingy overpolishing.
No played out blingy overpolishing, Son Lites, ESP, Titron etc etc.
BOTY right there
Posted 28 Apr 2013I agree, the painted GT are really cool.
Hopefully Kevin (Kristevin) will see this... he had some killer examples. Of course Don (Seadoit) has a great one as well.
Actually, Don's is Black chrome. A great original survivour black chrome 1983 GT Pro.
Yea, genuine painted early GT's are a rare item, thats for sure
Posted 3 Apr 2013Wow, Kerry, that is really cool to know you are going to start racing for the first time.
So many times I have considered buying a new school 24 and trying racing again. But I'll be honest, I've chickened out so many times, and withdrawn to the comfort of gazing at the vintage bikes in the garage.
On a side note, I just got back from Irvine, and the baseball caps were here when I got home. Thankyou for taking care of that for me!
Posted 2 Apr 2013The correct way to do this, would be to have a "Build Off"
I mean... Thats the cool thing to do, right?
WTF is a Build Off anyway?
Posted 30 Mar 2013I'm flying from NYC to John Wayne airport, direct. I have a hotel in Newport Beach for 7 days and a mid size rental car. Whole trip is less than a $1000.
I booked it through Yahoo travel.
I am in Irvine right now. I really like this place
I fly out Sunday morning to San Francisco, then back home.
Its too bad I couldn't time the trip for the BMX Society event, but it was all arranged around some training dates
