Additional Notes

Bought this bike from vazquizzel. He found it with the original owner. The kid's dad had bought it for him new in 1981. Bike is a little strange. Most everything is stamped 1981 but the forks are June 1978 Tange TX500 decalled as Traker by the bike shop and wheels are steel with heavy gauge spokes and coaster brake (which is just odd for such a light race bike). It does have a freewheel conversion.I added bubble font Ame Rounds, a new chain and a stem pad as the bike had none of those things. Disassembled bike down to last nut and bolt and scrubbed and regreased everything.

There is a ding on the left seat stay under the brake caliper. See last pic. Unnoticeable with brake mounted.
