I've read that they were made by a guy in Littleton, Colorado in 1983/4 and then sold at race tracks in the area. I've also been told that they were popular in the Salt Lake area. My US geography isn't great but I guess that makes sense being a neighbouring state. In any case this one was sourced from an old bike shop in Puerto Rico.
