  1. Oh Shit! I absolutely love them. Tom will hate me but I love chain guards…
  2. I think there was a little bit of confusion. Standard transmission applies to manual. I don't see a third pedal. Still a great looking car but I'm partial to standard / manual transmissions...
  3. Does it have a standard transmission?
  4. Is that a Mopar in the back? Let's see it!
  5. Wow. Amazing what a little elbow grease can do. I absolutely love the chain guard…
  6. I guess they're all made in the same place...
  7. So very cool! Let's see a picture of your daughter on it...
  8. I think it's probably a nostalgic thing because it was/is such a huge part of my childhood. The 70s BMX bikes really turn me on because I feel like they are a pure, striped down version of two wheel racing...
  9. After 50 you start counting backwards...
  10. I have to agree, it is a shame that it was re-painted. I bet the original burgundy was beautiful. Could you give us a parts breakdown on it? I would love to have the opportunity to work on that bike!
  11. I had an early 80s Schwinn predator 24 inch which I loved! Maybe someone will be able to post an ad from a magazine in 85 to see how the bike was set up from Schwinn. I think it's a cool bike, not high-end but still cool
  12. Is bicycle bluebook really a thing? If so, who comes up with the pricing...
  13. Hey I just picked this up and I love it! there are many things on it that are tripping me out. first off I can’t read the second letter of the serial number. The second thing is the shifter is a lot different than the other fastback 5 speeds I am finding. I’m not gonna do a damn thing to it! I’m just going to try to find a rear five speed rim in matching rust. If there are some Schwinn guys out there, please let me know what I have...
  14. Wow that thing is killer...Moto mag 1’s!
  15. Wow, this is really sad news. I really feel sorry for his family. I have an eight year old son and I’m trying to live a healthier lifestyle and be a positive role model. I’ve been sober now for the past year. The craziest part of life is you just never know what is going to happen. RIP
  16. No, I hear you Rick. Like I said I knew it would sound like I'm an asshole. I've had some really fun times with Brett. The boy definitely knows how to have a good time! I hope he can pull through this for his friends and family...
