1977-1978 Wheels N Things Race Team.

Aah the 1980's now we all know where this is leading to?

:51: The Raiders of the BMX World.

Enjoy,

SE Finkelman

By the Time WSI mother Co. Centurion/Diamond Back decided to make their push in

the 1980's for a share of the fast growing BMX Bike Market but it would take 3 really

big mirales being it was already February 1980 to pull this one off.

Miracle 1: :27: I had just finished my 2-3 years with Torker 1979 and was avaialable

when the DB Opportunity (March 1980) came by, finding out I was always their 1st choice.

Miracle 2: new1_blk_lites.gif Look flying the Black/Silver colors of the Raider's but with

all the Brilliancy and Power of a Flawless Diamond.

Miracle 3: :24: The DB Factory Team which is the Spear-head that will Spread the

Diamond Back Fever around the World to all the BMX Kids.

1980 DB FACTORY TEAM RIDERS PICKED TO SPREAD THE FEVER:

NOTE: 3 of the 6 Rider's came from the Wheels N Things Team?

bmx2112,

Very Observant, the Bike Aaron's sitting on isn't his it's a Bike that if I remember was

from a previous shoot with Silver/Chrome Decals, what I don't quite remember is why?

I kinda this it was cause Aaron didn't bring his Race Bike something like that?

Thanks for asking and I hope this will :help:?

It is -- kind of. Look at the number on his plate. It's backwards. The negative was reversed for this photo.

I'm not sure where Sandy hosted his photos... wouldn't be surprised if they all disappear eventually, now that Karen (his sister) has also passed.

I just hosted the remaining ones on this page here... but there's a lot more and I don't have the time to dedicate to that really.

Cool thread. First time I've seen this stuff. Thanks for bumping it.

Maybe another mod can help. It would be shame to lose all of them...

Cool you brought these back.

Wheels n' Things rider Kris Parenteau was one of my very first hero's in BMX racing.

He rode a SE JU-6 before the PK Ripper was invented. Had a SE co-sponsorship

JESSE PEDRIN LOVED BMX RACING BACK IN THE DAY."THOSE GOOD TIMES WILL BE MISSED BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN"

This is ROSBMX History at its Very Very Best and what's better than a Super Hero in his Early Days as a Mini Mighty BMX Racer.

:51: The Wheels N Things Racing Team was the beginning for many National BMX Riders that would make their Marks in the 1970's-1980's OSBMX History Books.

TRY TO FIND Mike/Eddy King, Doug Davis, Bo Stevens, Jesse Pedrin in the Pic?

Not Shown (1974-1978): Coy/Dale Hudson, Ricardo Pedroza, Boo Boo Moreno, Don Cole, Mike Mendenhall, Arron Stevens, and others.

 I'm very Proud of this Trophy won by my Team for the 1977 National Race Season.

Quite the Honor for me to stand next to Stu, Bobby, and Schwinn as the Best in BMX.
