Everything Rick ! Starting with the frame, The FST and FSX (same bike but one has mags and one has wheels) are a little bit shorter then the sport and for an unmistakable ID look for triangle holes in the rear standing platform. The Sport doesn't have the holes in the rear standing platform but does have the traction pins where you stand like a Master. The Sport was an inch longer then even the Master and had the same forks as the Master. The forks for the Master and the Sport in 87/88 have the full wrap/around fold down fork pegs and the FST & FSX have a fork peg like what came on the 85 Master and Sport (a stationary peg that does not move) Also because you said specifically 87, The Sport would have come with chrome forks and the FST & FSX have painted forks

And the Sport and Master both have chrome rear triangles (seat stays and chain stays) on the frame

ok, so is mine an invert that was made in 87 (serial #) and has 88 fst colors and stickers? to me it looks all factory, the guy i got it from got it new from the bike shop here in seattle, and it still has the original shop sticker. when he got it the guy took it out of the box and out it together for him. factory error??? im confused.....

Just came across this post. Better late than never. It is an FST. I have one as well.  87 model, but it's blue and black. Still has orig bike shop sticker from when the guy before me purchased it new.  From what i have been told, in 87' there was a  demand for the orig FST frame(no rear standers) , so they sold the early invert frames with FST decals. I've had all the Haro freestyle frames, FST will always be my favorite.
