Spur
Ok, there has been as much life in mid-school as there is in a morgue this past week. I figured this would liven the joint up, plus I think we are past due for this topic. Anything and everything SE Racing from the mid-school era. Bonus points for the big wheelers. Spur
Dug this one up, this is probably the most rare of the rippers of the era. I am not a Ripper fan, but this thing is bad ass. MotoBMX
This is my 1 of 3 (the only red annodized that is known) 93/4 SE Floval Flyer. There was a thread on this bike, but I can no longer find it. Purchased directly from Kendall @ SE and it was presented as a prototype when I purchased it. Most of the SE's then were powdercoated where this one is annodized and red to boot. I have seen 1 polished one with similar options. What makes this bike rare is the annodizing, combo rear brake mounts which has a std. brake mount on the bottom and old school MTB canti mounts on top. The silver cable holder on the top brake bridge ia a mid 90's PK cable holder. The threaded chrome Landing Gear forks, chrome powerwing cruiser bars and padset were purchased at the same time. There has not been 1 part changed since the original build (March 94') except for the internal foam in the handlebar x-bar pad. Look at the drop out pics and you will see I never even adjusted the chain. I have rode this bike a total of 8 times as the geometry never worked for me, though I rode it once late this summer and kind of liked it. It sat in my rafters for 13 years prior to bringing it to the Indy show last year. Wanted to post it one last time as regretfully it is going to have a new home soon. Sorry for the dusty pics! Enjoy and feel free to ask any questions.
