I'm not typically an SE guy, but I can't take my eyes of the quad in that pic. I don't know if it's the composition, the color, the bike itself. Very cool photo and a very cool bike.

Can you give us a parts run-down as best as you can remember it?

I can remember it pretty good since I still have it. Just finished painting it and such.

Here is the parts list:

'81 Quad frame

'81 Landing Gear fork

Pro Neck stem

JMC Darryl (sp?) Young bars

Araya 7x rims laced to Suzue loose ball hubs

Comp III tires

Profile cranks (2nd gen) Tuff Neck 44t chain ring

Shimano DX pedals

Dia Compe MX1000 brakes front and rear

Team Products levers

Shotgun II seat

SE post

Excaliber seat post clamp

I actually have everything on the bike as it is pictured here except the pads, front brake and lever, the rear tire, and the seat post clamp. Not everything is on the bike due to replacing some of the parts for its current scheme, but I still have the parts.

Oh, and the Haro plate is long gone...

1985

Rode my BMX to Philly. Endo on the top of the Art Museum steps, ROCKY style. Although I don't think Rocky work off brand OP Shorts, extra high white socks, and a Houston Astro's tShirt.

JMC black shadow, zeronine number plate, landing gear forks, dyno brake guard, skyway tuff ones that I converted from coaster brake to freewheel, black velor pads that my mom sewed.
