VDC Gorila Changa and baby Chimp

Here is my new Family. Hope you like.. :flower:

 

an 82 Gorila frame/fork ,83 Changa prototype frame/fork/pro bars and an 84 Chimp frame/fork/chromoly jr bars

BTW,I need cruiser bars ....anybody???

They will get built starting with the Chimp. Campy/NISI 24 holes,panaracer sew-ups,Hutch mini pedals/seat clamp,UNI Hammerhead,Oakleys and ...???

 

 

but first ......I need to get my hands on another Gorila and Changa. Im working on it as we speek.

Let me tell you,it wasn't easy. I sat in his store for the better part of 4 hrs until I was able to walk out with both..

 

 

 

Lionel is the man and I owe him BIG TIME!!!

another addition to an already happy family.

 

NOS VDC Chimp frame fork with NOS alloy mini bars. (special thanks to Jeff Haney)

 

This was the first version of the Chimp. Voris later decided to scrap this design in favor of the Chimp with both DT and TT meeting at the head tube after numerous frames snapping at the head tube and at the top tube where the down tube and the TT meet.

BTW, Since I couldn't live with the fact that Gorila #2 and Changa # 2 were repaired and re chromed frame sets, they were sold off to a local friend. I am now back to 4 frame sets. 2 Chimp, a Gorila and a Changa. (all pictured above)

 

 

 

Still looking for Gorila Cruiser bars... :Frustration:
