Very cool Mick. Notice the innertube around the bottom of the headset? I used to do that too. We all copied that trick I think!

That would be Pam Coble. I'm not sure if the other girl is Michelle (might be) , but if you knew her then you knew her brother John. Another old time San Diego guy. Welcome to the site.

So Christian - from what I have read so far...

GB serial Prefix may be a "Team" or "Factory" rider

Anodising was quite late in the history of the frames - around 78?

I don't know Ben, it's either that or it could be the last model made. (79) there are no 77 or 79 stamps which makes me think he built enough in 76 and 78 to last a couple of years. have no idea about the GB other than there are only two known to exist and mine was originally blue anno too but the previous owner powdered over it so yours is the only one with OG anno. great pick up by the way what a fucking bargain!!!

Here you go Christian, another frame to add to the list....

The info I have on this is that I got this off the second owner of the frame who got it in 1979, he cannot remember the original owner of the frame.

He broke the forks and ran pinched Tange TX 1200 (which he was kind enough to ship to me - they are stamped 79)

The bars and seatpost were original to the bike.

The funniest part of the story can be seen in the pic with the bars - in around 83 he put Mongoose decals on the frame because he wanted a mongoose but his parents wouldn't buy him a new bike LOL
