BH1 Posted November 8, 2008 Share Posted November 8, 2008 this frame and fork are very early , i got them from eric filley from oregon in 91 fork's drop out's where not bolt on then ? you know what is strange with Hawk (and Cru, your forks are the perfect example) is that nothing was ever consistent. I remember a friend and I purchased brand new F-20L's at the same exact time and mine had gusset plates welded top and down-tube, while his only had one on the down-tube. Also seen them with just the gusset on the top tube. Inconsistent stickers from year to year as well. and why would Cru's 91 have welded forks while Lopes' 92 have bolt-together forks? strange.
