RipVanWinkle 5 Posted November 7, 2008 I thought I would do some screen grabs from film and television shows that have vintage BMX cameos, etc. I didn't have E.T. so I'll have to get those up later. If you know other films and TV shows with BMX sightings let me know and I'll try hunt them down to post a screen grab. The 26incher 47 Posted November 7, 2008 Last night I was watching, "Boys in da Hood" and there is a part where a bunch of kids roll up on an ice cream truck. It looks like two of the kids are on old school bmx bikes? If anyone has that movie and can grab that, I think it would be funny. It's in the first part of the movie when Trey and Doh boy are still young...o ya, Goonies has some old school bmx bikes too.

Redline-Larry 0 Posted November 8, 2008 I was watching 'COPS' last night , and while they were arresting some punk in a suburban street, another kid was watching from the back ground sitting on an OS-BMX with red tuffs.

21windowkuwahara 1 Posted November 8, 2008 There was a scene in "Twilight Zone the movie" where the kid could make any wish come true and wished for his Mom not to have a mouth...? He was riding a E.T. Kuwahara as well.

cw 5 Posted November 8, 2008 PS: How do we know that's a two-four and not a KOS? (not saying it isn't a two-four mind you, just askin') b/c those are definitely 24" wheels. check out some kos pics.. you'll see how the wheels fill out the frame more. another thing about the KK 2/4. check out the closer shots of that bike in the movie and you can see that they totally black out the mongoose name on all the stickers. RipVanWinkle 5 Posted November 9, 2008 One of my best friends here made this video for Seaweed, and it's funny because he never rode a BMX bike in his life. My guess is that it was Seaweed's idea or my dumb ass JD, bong and BMX stories. I'm working on finding clips for all the stuff listed... getting Uncommon Valor now, I have On Any Sunday in the garage. I would also like to know who the wheelie kid was. It was ON Any Sunday that made my jaw drop and go nutty over BMX. I was riding cycles at Indian Dunes when they had the Bicycle Cross races, but I never managed to see one. Man did it suck to hit a long stretch of pure sand at that place, my skills were marginal at best so I stayed clear of the tracks.
