? about profile 24" frame brake mount

Recommended Posts

I traded a profile 24" to a good man and the way the brake bridge was welded on the frame came into question. can anyone please post pics of thier 24" profile brake bridge.

If I was taken for a fool when i bought them then I need to make it right with him.

thanks

no expert on profile but have own different ones i currently own a 24 cruiser that has the brake bridge weld in the middle i also have a mini shelby james that has the weld on the top i had a 20" pro frame that had the weld on top so i think thats one way to identify the different years that they were made. not all are the same.hope that helps

Well my 20" has it more in the middle and my stuffed 24" has it at the top...from what I can asertain, the 24" is very early as the brace behind the BB is also a similar shape to the brake bracket...

Thanks for the information, I was worried I gave him something that was misrepresented. The wealth of knowlege here rocks.

What year does it make mine? This profile 24 has the same gusset as the pre serial hutch expert I have.

I'll take a stab, post 82...(just an educated guess)
