Hoping to make an extended weekend as well. We have friends in Sherman Oaks (hmm... free board?). A day or two with them, a day at Peck Park, and maybe even a day or two in Santa Barbara. Sherman Oaks is one of my old hoods and on the visit list, then I need to run up to Ventura and Santa Barbara to see if my friend Scott is still alive. I'll be staying at my sister's house in Simi Valley. I joked with Marvin about getting a bunch of old farts with stingrays together for a couple beers and taking jumps and or possible old school downhill style race. I really need to make it to this! Sucks not being able to bring more than 1 bike, but meeting you guys and checking out your rides is what's important. California Or Bust. I have been once to check it out, and it was incredible. I remember when I left, I was really bummed because I didn't want it to be over--I haven't felt that way since I was a kid. Alvin Mullins Posted October 30, 2009 Share Posted October 30, 2009 First off I cant wait till June 5th this show get's bigger and better it seem's every year thank's to everyone that show's up and make's this the Best Old School BMX SHOW OF THE YEAR, There are a lot of People planning to be at Peck Park on June 5th 2010 and the Legends of Freestyle Style BMX Show is only going to get bigger, Im also looking forward to all the Old School Legends of BMX Racing that are planning to attend, any body that love's old school BMX need's to be here at Peck Park on June 5th 2010 for the Show of the year, from the Friday night Drinking Ride, I mean Beach ride to the weekend Ramp jam's oh yeah the ramp is eight feet now and goes to vert so bring your bike and your ball's lol, to the non stop So Cal weekend of Old School BMX, Bike's ,Ramp's , Legend's of Racing and Freestyle this is the place to be on June 5th 2010 see ya here, can I get a hell yeah? I know I got some killer pork tacos from this little hole in the wall place.
