94 Auburn build, my first attempt at mid-school

Recommended Posts

A couple things before i show it. I shot a good hundred pictures in every option I could with my Nikon D60. This frame in any setting or light looks blue except for in person. I assure you this is like grape soda purple.

I built it to my liking and did this for myself rather than everyone elses flavor

94 Auburn Frame & Fork,

Pro CR Auburn bars

Powerlite stem

Pitbull Brakes and lever

Crupi pedals

Gt 3 piece cranks w/ Profile spider

Haro Group 1 Purple ano Rims

Pmc Hubs

GT layback

Dirt Research Suede saddle

Gt seat clamp

Fsa headset.

Major Bros came out of the wood work and hooked me up on parts. This site is so tight knit that it probably only cost me a couple bucks to build.

My homeboys always come through, Brian Britt, Jakester ( Spur), Choad (Cody), Chris (Njracer), Brett (bmx2112), Doug (wagonguy), Ron (RipVanPimp),

Love the blue frame

Seriously though, killer build. That color combo is exotic looking and the choice in parts is spot on. I love it.

Kerry, your pics are freaking Huge!!! 3873 x 2592 1.21mb

You can change the settings on your cam for faster uploads.

That's on the smallest, least megapixel setting. It took literally 5 seconds to upload all of those pics. When I clicked on them, they are enormous (that's what she said).

Help?

Kerry, you have it set at Default(L). Your options are

L(3872x2592 pixels) 20x13"

M(2896x1944) 14x9"

S(1936x1296)

Move it over to S. That will give you a 9x6" image

(that's If you want to save space on your camera/computer and make it viewer friendly)

Nicshe work shun! That wheelset is dope, Group 1 rims, obscure but cool choice (Kiyomi Waller raced with them so they are stout).

I am proud of Kerry and Tom (keep_it_warm). Two traditionally OG cats who were open minded enough to the school we call Mid and pull off two GREAT builds.

Schweet.

I gotta look around for a padset and plate for it.

Dude!

(I don't know the first thing about mid-school, but from a purely aesthetic point of view, it is very pleasing. And you're right, the frame does look deep-blue rather than purple, so in person it's probably even better, so again, in a word: Dude!)

WOW Kerry, damn that looks good!!!! Great choice of parts also....it actually take me back to my riding days looking at your bike!!! I remember 2 of my buddies road those BITD. One was purple with pro forks and another was neon green with no stickers and he painted the rear section black.

Great Job Homeslice!!!! :bigemo_harabe_net-122:

Awesome, love the color combo and chrome mix!

The giant photos are good for zooming in on the small stuff, like coming up short on a chain.

:bigemo_harabe_net-77: :bigemo_harabe_net-188:

Edit: I see now, the darker chain part lines up where the chrome stops.
