ANDY JENKINS - the BMX Society Interview

Wow. I loved ANARCHIC ADJUSTMENT stuff. I had many shirts in my wardrobe in 87-89.... I think I still have a patch somewhere. Such a great era of photocopier-based artwork. It was always very inspiring to me. I still have a bunch of Trend Bike Source catalogs kicking around - just for the off-kilter art and statements. They were more like zines to me - than product catalogs.

Great read Steve!Your view about the artistic side of the Bmx sub culture or lack there of, is quite thought provoking!Maybe hard core sk8ing and punk jus kinda boomed at the same time so it seems to have more of an edge? Could just be timing. We all know Bmx is as PUNK LOL I grew up in So Cal and from an early age you had to draw a line in the sand,

Biker or Surfer! you kinda had to pick, so funny.Andy is certainly a very talented and fortunate Soul!
