Bike Registration Deadline: June 3 Banquet Ticket Deadline: June 9 As you may already know, we have Toby Henderson as our Friday morning "Site Supporter Breakfast" guest, Hollywood Mike Miranda for the Friday Night Chill Session, the show on Saturday from 9-2:30, and Windy takes the stage at the evening banquet (interviewed by Toby as Celebrity Interviewer). Like Rockford, it brings like minded people together in celebration of something we all love. Since these sites have a common ground and different people are at the helm from the past, I thought the old politics of V vs OS were gone. It's that time of year when we all relive our youth regardless of who is running what site and there are quite a few people who attend both. I was going to post something about Rockford in the next few weeks just like I did about Gonzo's, the Hollywood ride etc.... Let's just have fun with our friends. I dunno, maybe I was a bit on edge about it all because someone had posted about Rockford on the Museum, and the second I posted to that thread in response, my post was deleted. As I said, that impression was a mistake on my part. As for the statement about the timing of the event, I didn't mean it maliciously. But, just like the nationals are one on top of the other these days, it was nice when they were spread out a bit. That way more people could hit both. That is just my opinion, and I was not implying that it was done to cause our event trouble or anything like that. No question that both events will be very well attended. Maybe I was just telegraphing, via the keyboard, my dissappointment that I can never get to your event because I am always in the throes of last-week-itis. I have a now-classic OS-BMX shirt that I am aching to wear again. So, was that why my post was deleted over there?? I dunno The reference to the museum above made me think that the statement you cited might have been related to the deletion of my post. I know some mods/past mods over there are also members over here, and I thought they may have felt a "site loyalty" to a statement they felt was uncool on my part. Think I am paranoid on the boards?
