87 CW's did not come in pink color info and pics inside.

Recommended Posts

actually, the guy at the bike shop would say " yeah, Cw makes pink but they call it raspberry but I assure you it's the same thing"

LOL. I am not getting all worked up. All I am saying is if it were 1987 and you tried to order a CW IN pink and white you would not have gotten a bike. Just like the GT's that are listed in the same adds as pink if you had of tried to order 1 of those in Raspberry you would have not got a bike. Why because they are 2 totally different colors. You all can Call it what you want to. I will got it what it truly is Raspberry. :OSThumbsUpPeace[1]:

But it is not the same thing. I have posted pics to prove that. My bike does not match the pink color But the pic of the bean bag chair witch is Raspberry Matches my bike perfect. They are 2 different colors. If you google search the color Raspberry and the color pink they are 2 totally different colors. If they were the same color than the bike would be listed as pink and it is not.

Your bike is as raspberry as my skin is white.

CW can call it whatever they want, but the color is pink. White + Red = Pink. That's how I'd mix that color, because that's what it is.

On a side note, I'm really surprised that in 1987 I didn't spend an extra $22 to get a Pro Performer instead of my D-Tour. I guess that might have been two more lawns to mow. My D-Tour was Pink. Notice none of the Dynos are listed in pink. Your bike is pink.

My bike looks pinkish purple'ish Like the definition of Raspberry. It looks like the pink paint purple paint with a hint of red paint were mixed together than sprayed.

Well then maybe it is Raspberry. You should take some outdoor pics, indoor lighting isn't good for IDing colors.

Someone posts to tell us that CW never did pink, but only raspberry.

Something is out of whack...hehehehehhee

I googled "hot pink" and came up with the color samples below your pic.

Hot pink is just like real pink except it has a gay factor of like x7.

I'm saying the first one is nearly spot on, but the darker shades are still considered pink.

So you're not fooling me with your "Raspberry".

If you are so danged anti pink then maybe you shouldn't have gotten your dough all tied up in a bike that was so muddafuggin' pink.

Pink. Its part red. It's part white. Google it.

I have been doing some deep research on this color thing and have found that CW Did also use pink that year mainly frame and fork sets came in pink. I have posted a pic of a CW Shaker in pink next to mine it is much lighter in color You can clearly see the color difference.

Yes, I can see that clearly those two bikes are different shades of pink.

Coming soon to a thread near you: Turquoise or Blue-Green, you decide.

Maybe you haven't consulted the right authorities on this?

Have you considered asking here:

http://www.raspberryblackberry.com/

The were obviously concerned with the ramifications as well, there mission statement describes it as such

Members of the North American Bramble Growers Association (NABGA) voted at their annual meeting on January 31, 2008 to change the name of the organization to North American Raspberry & Blackberry Association (NARBA). We continue to be a membership association of blackberry and raspberry growers and agricultural professionals working to improve raspberry and blackberry production, link growers together, and spread the word about delicious, nutritious raspberries and blackberries
.

Apparently someone said Raspberries were pink and that Blackberries were purple

Yes I get the point. That my bike is Raspberry according To CW and Me. Now time to go clean the CW. If you look up the Definition of Raspberry and then pink they have 2 totally different definitions. Why? Because they are different colors. If they were the same CW would have listed them as such. If it were 1987 and you placed an order for a pink CW you would have gotten 1 like the color in picture A. The ONLY way you could have gotten the color of my bike is if you placed a order for a Raspberry 1.
