It's a redline techmatic I beleive. I think the early ones (or maybe the later) had the recess for the decals all the way around. And your missing a washer and lock nut.

I ran into some information on this topic a while ago. What I was able to find out is that the Redline Tecmatic, Hadley and Kastan mono fork leg bearing (or whatever it's called) are all the same and came from surplus military stock. All my tecmatics (3) have the machined arcs for the decals. These are most likely Hadley. Damn fine BB. the hardware you are missing is a little hard to locate cause it's a wierd thread count/diameter.

Good luck

Thanks for the replies guys! I may just trade it for a looseball double dimple bottom bracket.

no need to switch spindles your bottom bracket will work on a double dimple and his loose ball will work on your current set up

I thought the earliest (not including the unreleased version) had Redline letters actually engraved into the sides?

Then the style like Mhttnbch posted above with the recess for the decal.

Then the plain sided ones?

Where's the Kastan experts? I can't for the life of me remember what they looked like.

Never owned a Hadley so I can't say anything about that.

One more pic. BTW a well setup loose ball has way less drag then these if you ask me.

When did the Techmatics and/or Hadleys come out?

the last rendition of the redline version has no sticker inlay

smooth all the way around

and from what I understand they were already doing this by the time the half wraps came out so like 90 or 91 ?

Kastan BBs are stamped Kastan and they have a look similar to a Profile hop up kit.

I think I had that one, Ultramax also sold sealed bottom brackets. The company sold hollow one piece cranks and was a sponsor for a time.
