My GJS - I think it's complete

Recommended Posts

I think I am done with my GJS build...I think. Over the last year, I added an original NOS Bullseye bottom bracket, NOS Super Mighty cranks, KKT rat traps, a gold square corner Tuf Neck, Oury grips, Cycle Pro Snakebellies, Avocet Racer 1 seat, 7b rims and original Bullseye hubs. Oh, and GJS forks.

Now, I need a new project!

I never thought about those Avocet seats until I digitaly thumbed through a copy of my BMXA PDF.

Apparently, that was the seat you got when purchasing a 1970s SE Quad kit bike. It seemed like a natural for the GJS.

I'm definitely digging the tires.

You can't beat the look of real Cycle Pro Snakebellies. :)

I was just reading that test myself. Nice build, Steve. That will look right at home next to the others.

anyway... diggin the juicy Oregon-ness of the pics too, and yeah, the bike is really well done.
