He was sick a few years back. When I talked to him on the phone he said it was from his medicine but was getting better. Now cancer. Fuck man that sucks!! Super cool guy and I will be praying that he gets better.

I think he's been in this battle for a while. He did rsvp in the negative about coming to the event at Bellflower, but the message seemed to be rooted in a positive outlook generally. If the doctors say he'll beat it... I'll count on that. :)

I know - its a total bummer.

Cancer is the worst.

 

Maybe we should dig up one of his old threads - just for nostalgia sake.

Just went through the whole cancer thing (non-hodgkins lymphoma, the bad stuff) with a friend of mine. He is young, very healthy, extremely fit, and POW! he gets hit with this. Went through chemo, radiation, the whole nine yards. Doc said the most important factor in recovery from this stuff, is to have a lot of support from friends and family.

From the sound of things just on this site, he should have no problem.
