Posting Photos Using BMXsociety as your host

I'll pin this to the top of the BOTY forum for EZ access.

as you can see, there are 2 options when posting a response. A and B

(Add Reply and Fast Reply)

Option A (Add Reply) will let you respond with TEXT and an Image (image uploader)

Option B (Fast Reply) will let you respond with a quick TEXT response . Note that you can click on Full Editor (see image) if you decide that you want to add an image after opting for a Fast Reply. By doing so, you will get redirected to option A's image uploader page (see above)

There are 8 simple steps to attaching an image

 

1, Click "Choose File"

2, Choose image you would like to add from drop down box

3, click "Add This File" to upload file

4, once attached , file will show here

5, click "Add to post" to attach file to message box

6, file is attached to message box

7, click "Add Reply"

8, Attached image will be posted in response

You have just uploaded an image. (click to enlarge)

For multiple uploads.

You need to enable Flash uploader by either going to "My Settings"(upper right hand corner of welcome page) or by clicking on "Help with attaching files" (see below)

check box (Enable Flash uploader)

click "attach files" for multiple uploads at the same time. Upload status bar shown

Once uploaded, add each image by clicking "add to post"

make sure you add them one below the other (example B) and not side by side (example A)

is there any way to add photos to a boty entry after it's been submitted?

I loaded my boty pictures first one whent fine. but the rest came back picture to big. I took them all with the same Sony camera . on same seting.so how do I get the pictuers to be smaller? with out going fuzzy/blury when shrunk.

You can resize your pictures, then edit your post and replace the pictures with the ones you resized.

If you don't have a program on your computer, just Google "picture resize", and you'll find plenty of choices.

yea you need to play with the resizer.... I made mine way to small the first time. Still not to happy so I upgraded my membership this afternoon so I could have more picture storage and just waiting for my new membership to take effect :)

I think I chose 4"X6" for mine and it worked. 6"X8" was too big.

I just uploaded my pictures from my PC. to photo bucket re sized them there in my album. than copeyed them back to my PC. to post them up

I resized mine to 500dpi which looked fine until you clicked it then it was to small.

800dpi works much better but it kicks the file size up a bit.

Having trouble doing this. I click "Browse" then select the picture I want and it comes up in the little window next to the "Browse" button but when I click "Attach This File" it comes back with an Error message that says "No File Was Selected For Upload"...

 

 

Any advice would be helpful.
