This frame/fork will soon be in my possession. It was bought/parted. But, I'm happy getting what I got.

I was researching GJS bikes as I was considering letting mine go. Came across this thread and though I would share. Not as clean a build as some of the others I have seen in this post, but I thought I would share anyways.

84' gen 4 (g038) with acs z-rims, gt bars and laid back seat post. Added bulky ground control tires because I spent most of the time bombing muddy trails with fellow mountain bikers.

Gen 4 Gusset frame showed up today. Crappy pic, but, stoked. This is 3 of the 4 I have, and takes me to having 4 of the 5 different A-Frame models.

Found this while looking for something else. Then, reading it, something caught my eye. Check out the finishes. Chrome. Red. Blue.....

Anyone ever seen a red or blue one?

Interesting. I've never seen any of the colors.

sick as can be...

Haro on a GJS... I thought it was white, but maybe it's chrome?  I asked Bob... he said that he thinks it was chrome.

I'm afraid to look at what the photobucket situation has done to this thread... but given that George Utterback, the "G" in GJS has passed, I wanted to bump the thread in tribute.

I originally built it in '84. It had green accents Uni seat Oakley grips and Haro's on chrome plated Araya's with chrome plated spokes. Man it sparkled as it rolled the streets of K.C.Mo! We moved to Texas in '85 and it found it's way into a barn to just fade away. In '08 I decided I wanted to RIDE it again. Don't kill me for the seat I robbed off a mountain bike but it's a lot easier on the tush than a Uni. Most parts are original with "og" lol
