Bit of fun with GoPro Camera

Recommended Posts

So I borrowed a GoPro Camera and strapped it on my 84 Profile cruiser...very impressed with the clarity and simplicity...but the sound is a bit strange cause my chain does not sound like it records...and uploading to YouTube in HD...S L O W....

(if any can help embeding this youtube clip that'd be cool, cause I'm old school and can't work it out :)

That was pretty cool. Nice wheelie! I've been thinking that I'd like to try to record my commute on video somehow, a 45 minute ride thru NYC.

Here it is embedded:

Thanks mate, how do you embed video's?

Love to see your commute...this little video seem pretty durable and very easy to mount...waterproof to 60 metres..hopefully I won't need that on my bike :)

Nice whillie and great footage.

Where is the mic located on the cam? I'm surprised there isn't any wind noise. Very impressive camera.

The whole camera is inside a waterproof case, the microphone is inside too...don't know how that works...think I'm going to have fun with the camera...

That's cool!

Gonna have to look into getting one of those.

It would be cool to see some of our local races from that angle.

Great stuff there Rat. Nice little wheelie. I'm impressed you held it that long after the front wheel stopped spinning. I tend to get squirrely at that point.

Sean, was that 4130 ride in the South Bay area? That makes a lot more sense than the night rides through hell they usually do.

Those cameras take awsome videos. I love those things.

As for downloading them and posting them here, when I asked Steve about doing just that, he suggested using Vimeo. I think they are a site sponsor. The link is the "V" in the square box under the shout box.

With a little help from Steve I was able to do it.

Cool footage on both. I dig those cameras, but they're not cheap. The audio on SHADESSEAN's sounds like my kids not giving up on the dead slurpee.

Nice wheelie too. OSThumbsUpPeace[1].gif

These new HD cams take some great Vid's with Electronic stability control(sound not so good)

I use a Contour HD.

I don't know how to get My Vimeo vid's in a post :Idunno:

there was a bunch of riders on the 4130.. Huntington ,Newport, Balboa..ride

we should have a Video posting area with .. how to. for dummies.

Keep your long one to yourself Stu. None of us need to see that kind of stuff on a BMX forum!
