No problem -- I had flashbacks of my childhood Spiral Bikes (of Brooklyn) "Copperhead" that my parents bought me when I was in gradeschool. Mine was chrome, but very similar. "ok, power series cranks....$300-$400...where's the rest?" his friend said: "oh...he does know" seller says: "those cranks go for over $600 on ebay" i said: "not in that condition but if you say so. you'll be bringing it home with you....i'll check it out next week when you bring it back" then walked away. I hear ya.. everyone is an expert now. I had a guy tell me at a cycle swap his redline 500b was worth $425.00. I respectfully declined. I went back this year.. Guess what? he had the same bike! and he took it home again.. everyone thinks their old junk is gold. this is even more true with the rusty junk 10 speeds people try to pawn off for 125-175. what a joke.
