First and foremost I want to give a huge thanks to DAN, Truly Odd, Brian(Maximum85), Damon(4130only), Greyboy, Hector and of course Ralph Mundia. Without their collective knowledge and insight, I would've never been able to complete this 'project'. Shortly after receiving the frame & fork, I became so enamored with the following SuperBMX article, I decided to use it as an inspirational 'blueprint' on how to proceed with the Champion. I never got it down to 10lbs & 8oz, but I definitely had a lot fun trying!

This is a 1987 Titanium Cyclecraft Micro Mini. Made with mostly NOS parts. Complete bike weighs 11 lbs. 4 oz.

I got this and started researching it. I spoke to Mr. Martino a few times about it through emails. He got me in contact with the original welder of the F/F. There were approx. 10 of these made. Mr. Martino said that due to the high cost they didn't make many of these. Cyclecraft was big on making their mini and Junior frames out of aluminum. They sold those frames with titanium forks. This was a special order titanium F/F. This one was made in January of 1987.

The story told to me by the guy I got it from is that his dad bought it used in 1990. He raced it at the ABA Grands in 1991. When I got the bike it had the 1991 grands bike check sticker still on the brake cable.
