Webco Blues

Recommended Posts

Just got this frameset recently. I have been wanting an original paint and sticker Webco for the 2.125 Weinmann wheels that I have been sitting on. When this frameset popped up I knew it was the one for me.

Enjoy!

Well done! (as usual)

Your rims give a hint of aluminum, are they?

my first bmx bike had the weinmann aluminums on it. Those were great rims, put many miles and many jumps on them.. It was a 1979 Schwinn SX1000.

Great looking Webco William. I have a set of those wheels laced up and ready to go as well. I just need something worthy like that to put them on.laugh.gif

Damn son! settle down and let the rest of us play too!

:nah.I.mean:

Looks like something Cash would ride..

PS: I didn't know weinmann made steelies.. I would have sworn they were femcos. Nice preservation, loving the authenticity of it.. looks tuff with that Redline fork on her..

(ha ha, just realized a few years from now, someone will be searching "tuff fork" and this thread will come up)

you polished them?

George,

that is the way they came. I have had two pairs of these and they both have been polished. Donnie recently got a pair that are dull. The others that I have seen like these have all been polished.

These hoops were NOS when I got them and I never polished them. They always had that shine.
