My kid in my old uniform

Recommended Posts

I was waiting for dirt pics, but was worried he was getting too big. So while testing him for uniform size we snapped a few at home. Joe Discipulo gave me the idea after shooting a few of his son in his old Nomura uniform. Thanks to ROC for loaning me a helmet. Seeing my own mini me in my old uni was quite an emotional thing. Hard to describe. :)

There's something really awesome about this.

And I bet - pretty surreal for you.

Does he race BMX too? Or is he into something of his own?

Either way. Great idea for photos.

Thanks guys.

He looks very much like me, and when he gave the uniform a shot it was like looking in the mirror a long time ago. (Although, to be more correct I need to give him another year or so growing.)

I hope to do some dirt shots, and Father/Son pics as I have enough jerseys and Powerlites to go round.

I can still fit the leathers, they are 32 but the calves are pretty tight!

:)

(He doesn't race, there are no tracks nearby to make it easy. And I have not tried to pressure him into it.

But he does enjoy being an actor, and making little you tube videos so for him it was another role.

He does have grasp that the stuff/uni is old and that Dad raced pretty good back in the stone age.)

Fun project.

(Thanks Wagonguy for helping me find an old Pro frame. There is a long list of people I should thank.)
