It’s clean!  That’s a nice pick up.  What’s the story?

Had one as a kid and figured it would be neat to have one again. Put up a want to buy on the Museum and a guy in New York replies. Says he has two frames, one well ridden and one near nos. Price was fine with me and picked the nicer of the two. Silver color like the one I had so that's a plus.

Added new Oury grips and MKS rat traps, so done for now. Might change a few things as time goes by. Yellow grips are because mine from back in the day had them.

Hey, it came out really nice. I too had a bike bitd with yellow grips but I can’t seem to make myself buy some again LOL. Just messing with you about the grips. I actually did buy some yellow ame cam grips for when I rebuild my first race bike. There not era correct for mine but I’m not paying for Oakley 1s

Got a 1976 October competition Scrambler frame and it's loaded with killer parts from the mid-to-late 70s. I have been wanting one of these for a while.

Cool seeing another one pop up. Good one to start with.

This was was actually complete except for the stem. It originally had a webco super stem on it but the guy sold it before I could get my hands on it. I added a schwinn ashrabula stem, tubes, and tires. I only cleaned, repaited the seat, and regreased.
