1982 SE Racing Floval Flyer Complete!!

Recommended Posts

This was sold on the museum 4yrs ago and I just missed out on buying it.  Luckily my buddy in VA snagged it and I put the bug in his ear for years....well he finally he broke under my pressure and hand delivered it to me shortly after the New Year.

I built the wheels 2 days before I left to go to the Florida Spring Fling this past weekend and rode it all over St. Augustine.  I know everyone busts my balls for being short but I really like the way it rides, the early SE cruiser bars feel funny but I still dig.  I do have some Powerlite cruiser bars for it if i ever decide to change it up.

Enough jabber....here it is!

Saw it in person this weekend and it's pretty badass. I even helped hold the bike still so he could jump on the seat.

That's almost a dead match to the Floval I got in '82, only difference being that mine came with one piece cranks and a non-uni seat.   Yours is exactly like an 82 is supposed to look.  Nice job.  :rockout:

Love it, Jon!

My favorite SE color.

Riding on those IRC's - brave! :)

But I've seen you rip around on Comp II's for years anyway - So I guess it's not all that weird.

We'll have to get another NJ beach ride in this summer.
