Bob Sieber and Michael Welsh at the 78 Fall Nationals on the Mira Mesa Schwinn hack.  Picture was on the Oct 78 cover of the NBA newspaper. On the background an early RRS rider. Can't remember his name...getting old. :)

Not sure but it might be a Russ Pic.

Sweet pic!

Not only a killer shot but the most descriptive detail about you could ever read.  I love it!

Love how Rick just knows where all these hot pics are from, who took it, and has digits for the hottie in the background. So awesome, its like you can smell the hot dirt when he describes a scene.

great photo. Part of what I love about these shots: the faces of the spectators. you know those young dudes watching the action are really soaking it up. no one in that crowd is texting anyone.

I'll be doing another side hack race in August, so if you're interested you have time to get one together. :)

One of the things I remember vividly about early sidehack racing is that non-racing  "civilians" used to show up to watch them race and would leave afterwards. Kids and adults.

Damn, it must have been so great bitd to race hacks. Big hills. Lots of speed. And having a teammate must have made it extra cool, like the dudes who raced the Baja in VWs. Adventurous.

In the words of Agent Smart: Missed it by that much...

No Bob. You're not allowed to post facts. You either Welsh.

We rather post stuff we learned on the internet and believe is true. :)

Been waiting for you or Mike to give us additional info. :)

Wow!!!! That side hack is well done. Another first class build! (goes with your perfect DG).

As for hack racing, rev106 does put on side hack events in and around the San Fernando Valley. If you want to run it you certainly could.
