S.Brothers 860 Posted December 10, 2015 1999 SE Racing Quadangle This is the last year of USA production for SE Racing. It's a pretty sweet frameset... super long and comfy for the adult sized rider. I wanted to build this realistically, using nice but not particularly exotic parts... I wanted it to be a realistic rendition of what I'd have built if I was say... a 17 expert in 1999. This was the first time I'd built a bike with threadless headset and canti mounts, etc. from the ground up. I feel so contemporary and with it! Note that I'm only posting this to prime the pump, so to speak... it will be ineligible for voting, since I'm running the show. Smokin Steve Styler 6 Posted December 11, 2015 (edited) Homeless Mack SL I got this frame a couple years back. It was originally built up in 1991 by Carl Lein. Carl built the first jump at what we all know as Ninth Street in Austin TX. Carl sold it to my friend Brian Allmand around 95 or 96. I got it from Brian a couple years ago to round out my Homeless collection. This is the first time I have built this frame into a complete. James Shepherd was by my place a couple of months ago with the Mack SL he had just built. He is pictured with his bike. Seeing James' bike inspired me to build mine. The parts used were all on hand in my garage. Nothing has been re-finished. More like barely cleaned. Fork Stickers are reproductions from the batch I had made. All other stickers, finishes original. Parts are as follows: F/F: Homeless SL 21 1/2" top tube/Homeless First gen. Second gen legs did not extend past bottom of dropouts. Bars:Redline Forflifter First gen Stem: Homeless XL Headset: Bear Trap Cranks, Sprocket, Pedals: Profile 182mm, Odyssey, ShimanoDX Wheels: Super Pro, Primo V monster Tires Brake: AD-990 Tech 5 Lever, Odyssey Cable Grips: Jive Handles Seat: Selle Italia Post: Dyno Seat Post Clamp: Odyssey Edited December 11, 2015 by Smokin Steve Styler

D MAN 30 Posted December 21, 2015 1998 Free Agent Bombadier so I picked up a used 1998 Free Agent Bombadier freestyle team modle frame used for $30.00. at a swap meet like I need one more bike any way. heres the parts brake down started with the black sparkle candy 96 Mongoose forks. that seam to never sell any the times I listed them. sanded them down primed them for paint. spayed them metallic silver. but they were way to light in color. did not look good with frame factory gray color. so then lade my lace over the forks. to shot clear black window tint over the silver. then clear cot it. bake it in the oven for 20 minutes . for a harder tougher paint finish. then rubbed down the frame. with 3M Super duty rubbing compound. fallowed by Meguiars Deep crystal carnauba wax. it's a odd 1 year only 1998 Free Agent Bombadier Mongoose hooligan forks re painted by me. head set Odyssey Dynatron 1" BMX Threaded headset NOS .
