pr200 26 Posted March 16, 2016 I might be missing something here, please correct me if am. I purchased an old (ex factory rider Mike Scott/Race Inc) drilled out SR SAKAE chainring with a 122BCD a while back and may utilise it on an upcoming project - but for the life of me I can't find a relevant spider that would pair with the 122 BCD, am I missing something? Any ideas on what I should be looking for? I'm easily confused but this is doing my head in. Cheers in advance. Ben
pr200 26 Posted March 16, 2016 I should add - I want to run a opc, that may be my problem ???
Donnie 3 Posted March 16, 2016 122 BCD is specific to Stronglight? I can't think how you could run an OPC.
pr200 26 Posted March 16, 2016 Donnie, That would make sense then, that's probably why I'm so confused..... It looks like I'll go to plan 'B'
reilley1 351 Posted March 16, 2016 Nervar too. But if you want to go OPC, I think the spiders with the elongated bolt holes might work. (Maybe! I repeat. )
pr200 26 Posted March 16, 2016 Any examples Rick? I'm working around 1981/82 so it must flow with those dates, as mentioned above, I may have to go to plan 'B'
reilley1 351 Posted March 16, 2016 Ebay "Tioga universal spider" under Sporting goods and you'll see different examples, including a Takagi MX version that might be what you are seeking. Not totally sure on the year though.
pr200 26 Posted March 16, 2016 Cheers Rick, I'll have a dig around....
TrulyOdd 589 Posted March 17, 2016 I was going to say the Tioga spider too. It will definitely work with that chainring.
