This MX-II was stacked with quality components but...

Recommended Posts

it was found with these cheap looking bars. Any idea what they are?

Yeah, can't help with the bars but that's a lovely-looking bike, and I love those flights!! What's the story?

Don't really have much of a story for it. It was donated to bikes for the world and was set aside for me to sell.

Thanks for the comments.

Well if anyone has a use for these bars I'll let them go cheap. The blown out Grab-ons will come with.

Actually, This was just collected at a donation event in Maryland over the weekend. Possibly the same bars??

Can't wait to get a chance to pick it up in person to inspect.

Look like Mongoose bars? But no bump for the single stem. Maybe a tad later?

Yeah, I think Mark Mc is right.  Later Mongoose bars had the pinched crossbar but were designed for a double clamp stem ( no bump).

I do sell mostly on museum. Ebay hasn't worked out so well the last few times I went that route.

Currently for sale:

If stuff doesn't sell I keep reducing prices until it does. ALL proceeds go to support Bikes for the World.... unless I'm selling my own stuff of course.

I just sold that black MX-II recently.
