moto’d out Schwinn stingray

Recommended Posts

I saw this out diggin and posted it in the swap thread.  It’s definitely a tricked out survivor so thought it deserved its own thread.    Homemade frame reinforcement mods, Matthews handlebars, KKT pedals, Araya rims, Etc.
Check it out.

I didn’t notice the modifications the first time around, nice. I remember having to pry open the schwinn goosenecks to get them past the crossbar and then when you close it back up sometimes the clamp bolt wouldn’t lineup. Man what a pain that was. I’m surprised this bike still has its kickstand, that’s usually the first thing to go.

Ya, I didn’t even think about the kickstand.  It is surprising it’s still there considering it looks so about business.

WHat kind of tire is on the front? In my locale, around '74/'75 those were the tire to have. If a dude was running those, he was the envy of the neighborhood.
