I love this bike. Perhaps even better than the old red one?

I'm so happy to see you building again. Having said that, I hate that you are building again because your shit makes my shit look like garbage.

Bike is freaking amazing!!

Sorry about the goofy spots in the pics. I like the portrait setting on iPhone, but there are always those tight areas that dont really turn out correct.

If I were building a high end racer in 1979/1980 now (or then) I would have (and did) selected 99% of the same parts which is another way of saying you nailed it.

Well done!

Certainly didn't cut any corners on this bike...one of those builds you keep going back for another look!

DAMMIT TOM!! I had a build planned and you literally just about stole it!! I have a survivor JMC same color and mint cond., but mine has Chrome fork. Was gonna build it almost identically right down to those Drillium hubs.

It's OK though cause I would've never had the time to put mine together, so I'll just look at yours!  Better pics of the hubs...I bet most of these fossils have never seen or heard of them. Do you know the story of why/how those hubs exist????

Thank you guys. I appreciate the comments. I walk on a treadmill in my basement daily. I have this bike positioned directly in front of the treadmill. Staring at it 7-9 hours per week...lol. My only regret is selling the red one all those years ago. I would love to have them side by side.
