CYC/GT connection

Recommended Posts

I've poked around a bit and can't seem to find a thread that discusses the GT/CYC connection.

Someone contacted me and asked and I don't remember the details but I seem to remember an explanation here somewhere.

Any ideas?

I've found threads that discuss Pedals Ready GTs and others that discuss the Ames Stormer, but I can't find the story about the connection.

Hi Dennis. I actually interviewed Jim Melton. I contacted him for the book I'm writing on the history of BMX. (BTW the book is like 600 pages or more so its pretty much done. I just know I am missing a few things so...). Jim told me some good stuff and I posted some of it at my CYC Blog. Not sure If i am allowed to post a link, but you can find it on Wordpress. Some stuff I am saving for the book. Some stuff about those tumultuous times I just can't print lol. Gary Turner did build the CYC Ames Stormer.

When do you think you'll have your book ready?
