  1. I walking around a swap meet recently and spotted these leaning up against a truck. nice 1st gen hubs with track axels on some mavic road bike rims. Still deciding what to do with them.
  2. does anybody know if gt put their Mohawk cassettes hubs in to productions? If have pictures from a Snap magazine . But was these one off?
  3. I see this quite often. People list GT hubs up for sale, claiming they are first gen, when they aren't. For example, there is a set up on ebay at the moment, with a Buy It Now of $120, which are claimed to be first gen, when they are more like mid to late 80's. The shape of the hub bodies gives it away. But what I am interested in, is when did they stop using the aluminium collars? I bought some hubs a while back that were claimed to be first gen, and I thought they were, because they had the collars. But they were late eighties ones. Would someone have fitted the collars? Or was there some kind of crossover?
  4. came across these 24" araya 7x's with sealed bearing sunshine hubs a couple days ago. rear is a 1st gen (engraved) red/silver and front is a silver 2nd gen (printed). figured I'd post them up.
  5. these SUZUE Juno stamped hubs came on a survivor 83 diamond back. i'm looking to see if anybody can break down some info about them.
  6. Just picked up these orange Paul Component (MTB) hubs which I believe are an early gen. Anybody know some details on these?
