I have a couple questions about Sugino 3pc cranks.. Sorry if I sound like a noob What are the difference between Maxy cross and super Maxy? Are Sugino super mighty's good bmx cranks? What year did they start producing Maxy cross, super Maxy and super mighty's? Trying to go as era correct as possible. Sugino vs takagi tourney? Last, what's your opinion on the best early 80's cranks? Thanks for the help in advance guys, Noah

We've all seen the different Takagi cranks. But, what's the real difference? Timeline? Material? My belief is bottom to top is older to newer. But, why doesn't the model in the middle say CrMo? Is it not Chromoly? I don't recall 180mm cranks in the late 70's, so, when did they come out? If it says MX is it different somehow than if it doesn't? All are cast with T7 81 across the spindle area, and I know the bottom set was available in 1979, so, that's not date info. Any info folks have would be great.

Just seein if anyone still has love for one piece cranks. If you do...post up a pic. It could be the cranks, the whole set up, the bike, stash or whatever.
